Proper Handling of Lighted Wedding Sparklers

Once lighted, wedding sparklers should be handled, positioned and waved at arm length away so as to avoid contact with the face, eyes, skin, and clothing and to the next person. It is a must to have enough space for the moving and waving of the sparkler to prevent accident. Children must be closely monitored to prevent them from throwing the sparkler and from running into sparklers being waved by others. Sparklers, cigarettes, matches, lighters should also keep away from papers, dry grasses, tissue papers and other flammable substances such as alcohol and gasoline to prevent unnecessary ignition to these materials.
